These audio clips are in mp3 format so that they can be downloaded reasonably quickly without losing too much quality. The size in KB of each file is indicated by passing the mouse over the sound icon.

If you don't have an mp3 playing programme installed on your computer I'm afraid you won't be able to hear them but I have recorded a CD called "Made in Cornwall" featuring my instruments which will give you a much better idea of the sound they make.
